Truth Quotient

Truth Quotient
If "truth" can be mathematically quantified into a percentage, this might be called the truth quotient. The higher a percentage, presumably the greater likelihood of a pure truth being present. Thereby, is it reasonably logical that something may be expressed in a 100% pure truth form, or alternatively, in varying percentages of lesser truth -- partial truth -- or even just... "truthiness?"

It is said that most successful comedy contains at least some (unspecified) amount of truth -- and great delivery timing. Humor attempted with an inappropriate truth quotient may yield a clearly non-humorous moment, or worse.

"Partial Truth"
(Excerpt) "...this whole area of partial truth is a plague upon us these days." In this sermon titled: "Partial Truth," Rev. Rolfe Granath mentions examples and explains the origin of his sermon title at approximately the 8:00 minute mark on the audio clip below. You can listen to the entire sermon from the beginning for other inspiring spiritual teachings by the Christian Pastor.
