Shoreline Beach Cafe

Santa Barbara, California
On Leadbetter Beach. Below is an artist's rendering with possibly a historical (if not fantastical) perspective view of a former building that, for me, resembles the Shoreline Beach Cafe as it may have existed at Leadbetter Beach sometime ago. City of Santa Barbara Parks Division present-day inactive map here.

Our visit to this delightful place to relax and have a meal was on a warm bright sunny day. Our perch was at a table slightly raised above the beach sand on a deck with a mostly glass partition/guardrail facing the Pacific Ocean and Leadbetter Beach. Multi-colored fabric covers the deck for sun protection and designed to allow cooling breezes. It was a great meal and wonderful time together that compelled us to favorably compare it with some similar restaurant locations in Honolulu, Hawaii.
