Golden Birthday: mark it with love

Almost every human has one. It won’t make you feel good if you’ve neglected or completely forgotten about yours. Or your spouse’s … or any of your children. Children of your children. Oh my.

It happens relatively early in life. For me, a fine suggestion is to mark this event in the life of a loved one with a timeless endearing gift that may or may not have value beyond saying to that person, “You are good and I love you forever.”

Wish I’d actually done that then for several loved ones; however many years ago …

A person’s chronological age on their birthday occurs on the numerically matching day of the calendar month -- creating the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for their golden birthday. One example: a loved one that turns 17 years old on June 17th.
