2014 World Series Champions

New Dynasty: San Francisco Giants Baseball
Do three World Series Championships in five years make a baseball dynasty? Oh, you betcha. A dynasty.

Above: On right, Madison Bumgarner and Buster Posey hug it out near the pitcher's mound. On left, Pablo Sandoval lies stretched out flat on the ground in front of the Giant's dugout after catching a pop fly for the final out of the series. (Photo credit updated 11.23.14.)

Experienced Players
(Excerpt) "Eight players have been on all three Series rosters for the Giants in the past five years: Affeldt, Bumgarner, Casilla, Tim Lincecum, Javier Lopez, Posey, Romo and Sandoval. Cain, a member of the first two title teams, was hurt this October. Before this run, manager John McGraw (1905, '21-'22) was the only Giant with three titles. Bochy became the 10th manager to win three World Series titles — the other nine are all in the Hall of Fame."

A Suggestion for SF 49er Football Head Coach Jim Harbaugh
Consider this: Just substitute Madison "MadBum" Bumgarner in at quarterback for a few plays! He may be available after -- about two days rest...
