NFL Instant Replay Challenge

Larry Fitzgerald, Kurt Warner, and the Arizona Cardinals did not win Super Bowl 43 . They did win two instant replay challenges during the game; both times they attempted a challenge -- that would be 2 for 2. This feat of twice successfully calling out an official's faulty call (proven by review of game video tapes) awarded them a rare third challenge opportunity. And made it possible to completely validate their own Super Bowl loss.

The opportunity came at the end of the interesting football game. Steeler wide receiver Santonio Holmes stretched his hands up in an amazing tippy-toe extended catch, just inside the end-zone. The instant replay challenge proved it a legitimate touchdown catch -- that would be the game-winner.
"... A team successful on two challenges in a game will get a third."
